FIELD OF GREENS’S Organic Greens Blend contains 12 different vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Some of the well-known greens like spinach, kale, and broccoli are rich in phenolic acids, carotenoids, flavanoids, glucosinalates, and vitamins. Researchers have found the phytochemicals contained in such foods to be a primary reason why vegetables reduce the risk for various diseases. A few unique plants, spirulina and chlorella, are superfoods. These blue-green algae can detoxify heavy metals, improve white blood cell function, reduce cholesterol, and improve endurance.
A healthy metabolism is paramount for overall health. Without it, everything else breaks down. Ginger, Licorice, Turmeric, and Green Tea all support a fully functioning metabolism. Ginger reduces nausea and increases nutrient absorption by increasing enzyme activity in the digestive tract. Licorice helps protect against heartburn and ulcers. Turmeric performs a myriad of helpful functions such as reducing gas and bloating and promoting liver health (the liver is perhaps the most important organ for metabolism). Finally, Green Tea increases metabolic rate and fat oxidation.
The Organic Reds Blend is packed with anthocyanins, carotenoids, tannins, and more. Blueberry contains very high levels of malvidin, an anthocyanidin that can reduce DNA damage, blood pressure, pro-inflammatory factors, and general oxidation along with several other beneficial effects. Tart cherries are a popular food with endurance athletes for their ability to promote lipid metabolism and reduce muscle damage and soreness. Beets are another superfood. High in naturally-occurring nitrates, beets improve vascular health.
The influence of gut bacteria on human health is strikingly robust. To keep our helpful bacteria going, FIELD OF GREENS contains 2 grams of prebiotic fiber, which is essentially bacteria food. Bacillus Coagulans improves immunity, reduces bloating, enhances protein absorption, and increases anti-inflammatory cytokines.
This is the best product out there along with all the other brickhouse products. I travel for work and it's not easy to get my daily fruits/veggies. I mix this in my protein shake for a quick in between meal supplement.
First, it's a great company and that means a lot to me. Whenever I've ordered from them they always personalize the receipts with a message, which is cute. Their customer service is superb because within 10 minutes of emailing them telling them that my shaker bottle wasn't included in my order I got a response telling me that they would send it right away. I got my bag and shaker two days later. I really love nutrition so I was excited about Field of Greens. Actually, it tastes best in coffee! However, it gives me so much energy, even if I take it in the morning and don't take another scoop in the afternoon, I still can't sleep without melatonin. So if you're sensitive to everything like me, get some 10mg melatonin if you don't have a prescription for Ambien or a subscription to Brickhouse's sleep aid ;-P. What I do love about the Foundation is that I can take it late in the afternoon (4:30ish) and go to my class at 5:30 and my sleep is still unaffected. I had never tried creatine before so I wasn't sure about the level of energy it was going to give me and I love my restful sleep. I just recently started taking it again after a year, I guess. I had gone to a serious cardio class and just took it because I had some left over. I was surprised by how little I was sweating and how I didn't feel like I was about to die. It gave me an extra push. Since I don't take it like I should, 4 pills a day and 2 pills on my off days, I know I'm not seeing the results I could be seeing. I think I will start next week though, to see what it does. This is a BAD WEEK, y'all. It's Thanksgiving week. Everything I burned last week came back. I lift weights on Mondays and Fridays, which is done in Body Pump. We spend for 4 or 5 minutes on each major muscle. . .chest, back, squats, etc, for 45 minutes. I do a killer cardio class on Wed nights and Body Flow (Yoga) on Thursdays and these are for sure every week. I would be walking around 6 or 7pm, for 1.5 to 2 hours, but now that's it's dark I can't do that. I could get out of bed on Wed and Thursday mornings and take more classes but my bed is amazing and I'm single. What does her being single have to do with it? Shouldn't she be working harder BECAUSE SHE'S SINGLE??? No, because for a single girl who isn't lonely, I have enough motivation to work out. But when God sends my future husband, WATCH OUT! I will have a reason to hit it harder! I'm almost 43 years old, 4' 11.5", and have a medium frame, which is bigger for someone my height. Eating everything I want is also not an option, well, it is an option and I do. . .HAHA. That being said, being ripped is not in my near future. Weighing less, is in my future and being more toned is also . . . next week ;-). Here is what I look like after Thanksgiving week, a whole week of only working out on Monday night. The week before Thanksgiving I worked out Wed, Thursday, and Friday night and took 2 foundation pills before, but not in the morning. My arms are a good enough indication of my physical health, and that's kind of how I gage where I should be. If I'm not doing my tricep push ups at night, I can tell after a few days. Even if I have been slacking on the other work outs and I do my push ups, my arms stay looking alright.. . cuz, push ups work. No need to show the stomach yet. . .Thanksgiving week, people ;-P. If I do get on this regular regimen next week and I have noticeable results, I will post another picture next to the first one, if I'm able. I may not be able to go in and edit.
I've only been using Field of Greens for 2 weeks and I'm really enjoying it! It tastes fantastic and it seems to give me a little boost for my workout and recovery! I also got a nice handwritten note of gratitude with my first order! Thanks Brick House for the personalized touch and for delivering a great product! I'm excited to order more!
This is better than any of the others that I've tried I can't wait to try the wild berry when it comes back in stock really help sad especially with these lockdowns
No only did I receive a nice hand written note of thanks for my purchase, but I also got my order two days early.
On to the product. I was initially apprehensive of this product due to the stigma green powdery drinks have, so it came as a delightful surprise that its like nothing I had tried before. The drink is easy to make and tastes great! I would best describe the taste as strongly banana flavored with hints of berries that are slightly offset by the "greenery" in the mix. Ive been taking it for a week and have noticed an increase in energy. I would recommend to others without hesitation.
